About the archive
A catalog of echoes, not a courtroom.
IKEA Remix now treats your Obsidian note as an editorial source list rather than a database seed. The strongest pairings become illustrated comparison cards with museum, manufacturer, or IKEA sources; thinner or more interpretive links stay visible in the archive rail with more cautious wording.
Editorial rules
The site runs from a local TypeScript source file, which keeps the project static, reviewable, and easy to version alongside its writing and research links.
Each card uses one of three labels. Documented dispute means there is public legal or press coverage around the resemblance. Widely compared means the pairing appears often in research and commentary. Design lineage means the relationship is more about a category or formal vocabulary than a one-to-one accusation.
When the historical trail is thin, the archive says so. That keeps the project sharp without pretending every comparison carries the same evidentiary weight.
